Adapting basics#

A lens can be adapted with simple tube spacers when its flange distance is longer than the camera's. With 55.00 mm, T-mount (T2) lenses can in principle go on bodies with shorter flanges such as Leica S, Arri PL, Tamron Adaptall, Contax N, KMZ Zenit DKL-mount, Leica R. Bodies with this mount can take lenses from longer-flange systems such as Mamiya 6, Vivitar TX, Mamiya 7, Hasselblad H, Ricoh 126C-Flex, Mamiya 645, Novoflex [de] A-mount, Contax 645.
