Adapting basics#

A lens can be adapted with simple tube spacers when its flange distance is longer than the camera's. With 74.10 mm, Pentacon Six lenses can in principle go on bodies with shorter flanges such as Pentax 645, Zenza Bronica ETR, Contax 645, Mamiya 645, Novoflex [de] A-mount, Ricoh 126C-Flex. Bodies with this mount can take lenses from longer-flange systems such as Kowa Six/Super 66, Kiev 88 / Salyut, Hasselblad 1000F & 1600F, Pentax 6×7, Zenza Bronica SQ, Zenza Bronica GS, Zenza Bronica S2A, Rollei SL66.
