Adapting basics#

A lens can be adapted with simple tube spacers when its flange distance is longer than the camera's. With 27.50 mm, Chaika lenses can in principle go on bodies with shorter flanges such as Samsung NX, Canon RF, L-Mount, Micro Four Thirds, Hasselblad XCD, Sony E-mount. Bodies with this mount can take lenses from longer-flange systems such as M39 / LTM (Leica thread), Olympus PEN F, Contax G, Hasselblad XPan, Nikon S / Contax RF, Contax RF-mount, Minolta V-mount, Four Thirds.
